Our most successful forecast model is part of our oldest monitor research, the European Architectural Barometer. Architects are excellent indicators for developments in the market, as they are positioned at the very start of the construction process and are generally influential throughout.

Their insights and order book developments, combined with other indicators like construction permit figures, consumer, industrial and construction confidence indicators, employment figures and GDPs, form the basis of our forecast model.
