Media Orientation

During the corona crisis, but already in the years before that, there has been a slow and gradual shift towards more digital orientation behaviour of general contractors/builders instead of more traditional channels.

In the new H2 2021 report of the European contractors’ monitor, USP has investigated the orientation behaviour and media usage of general contractors/builders in 8 European countries. The results are based on 952 successful telephone interviews with contractors (mid to large size companies)

Key questions covered by the report:

  • Turnover and order book developments of contractors
  • Expectations of the effect of COVID-19 on 2022 turnover of contractors
  • Project segmentation of contractors (residential, non-residential, new-build, renovation)
  • Usage and orientation of media channels
    • Usage and development media usage in Europe
      • Traditional vs. digital media usage
    • Development and comparison of media usage with 2019 in Europe
      • Traditional vs digital media usage
      • Generation X vs. Baby boomers

The full report is now available for 9,000 Euros.
